Rye malt and oat malt for beer brewing
Rye malt and oat malt offer the opportunity to impart a distinct grain character and mouthfeel to the beer. Rye can contribute a spicy and dry malt profile, while oat malt typically provides a softer, rounder, and creamier sensation.

Use rye and oats in the malt mixture
Light rye malt can be used in rye beers, saisons, IPAs and other beers where a distinct grain and spicy character is desired. Caramel rye and chocolate rye provide more colour and deeper flavour nuances. Oat malt is well-suited when the beer needs more body and a silky-smooth mouthfeel.
Combine with a suitable base malt, or see unmalted grain and cereal flakes.
