Threaded plugs with internal thread
A threaded plug with internal thread – also known as a plug with socket or female thread – is used to seal an unused connection with an external thread.
Available thread sizes
- 1/8″ internal thread
- 1/4″ internal thread
Always check the thread standard, size, material, fluid, temperature and working pressure before assembly. Use the sealing method appropriate for the thread type and installation.
Only use the bung in direct contact with wort or beer if the material of the product is expressly stated as suitable for this.
