John Guest push-fit plugs
John Guest plugs are used to temporarily or permanently close off an unused push-fit connection. They are useful during alterations, servicing or expansion of pipework installations.
Select plug according to the dimensions of the coupling
The outer dimensions of the plug must correspond precisely to the size of the push-fit connector. Therefore, choose, for example, a 3/8″ plug for a 3/8″ connector and a 1/2″ plug for a 1/2″ connector.
Push the plug all the way in and check the connection before pressurising. Also check the product's material, temperature limit and maximum allowable working pressure.
