Choose between beer bottles and demijohns

50 cl beer bottles

The range includes brown 50 cl bottles for 26 mm caps as well as swing-top bottles. Check that the bottle neck, cap or swing top and your sealing equipment are compatible.

5-litre demijohns

Demijohns can be used for smaller batches and pressureless fermentation or storage. There is both a simple 5-litre model and a set with an airlock and bung. A demijohn must not be used as a pressure vessel.

Safe use and reuse

Always inspect glass bottles for cracks, chips and other damage before use. When secondary fermenting in the bottle, the bottle and closure must be rated for the expected pressure. Thoroughly clean and sanitise bottles and demijohns before filling.
