Select the hose according to the medium, temperature and pressure for which the hose is to be used. The material and dimensions must be suitable for both the application and the fittings or couplings with which the hose is to be connected.

Choose hose according to application

A hose for beer, CO₂ or hot wort must be specified for the specific application. Do not use material, colour or appearance alone as the basis for selection; check the product specifications.

Check diameter, temperature and pressure

Compare the internal and external diameter of the hose with the connections and hose clips. At the same time, check the temperature range and working pressure. The complete assembly must not be used beyond the limits of the lowest-specified component.

Cleaning and replacement of hoses

Follow the product's instructions for cleaning and maintenance. Replace the hose in the event of cracks, discolouration, persistent deposits, deformation or other signs of degradation.
