Cloves have an intense, warm and spicy aroma with slightly sweet woody notes. They can be used in winter beer, Christmas beer and other drinks where a prominent spicy character is desired.

How to use

Add the cloves according to the recipe, for example during the final stage of boiling or through a controlled subsequent extraction.

Cloves are very aromatic and can quickly overpower other flavours. Therefore, start with a small amount and adjust according to batch size and desired intensity.
