Dried elderflower for brewing
Elderflower gives a light, floral aroma with sweet and citrusy nuances. It can be used in pale beers, saisons, wheat beers, mead and other drinks where a fresh floral character is desired.
How to use
The elderflower is added according to the recipe. It can, for example, be used late in the boil or during a subsequent extraction, depending on the desired aroma and intensity.
The taste can quickly become strong, so start with a moderate amount. Ensure good hygiene when adding after boiling, and remove or filter out the plant material before bottling.
