It can be used in specialty beers and other drinks where a prominent spice character is desired.<\/p>\n<p>Star anise is not the same as regular anise. The flavours are similar, but the products come from different plants.<\/p>\n<h2>How to use<\/h2>\n<p>The capsules can be crushed easily immediately before use so that the aroma is released. Add according to the recipe, for example during the final part of cooking or by controlled subsequent extraction.<\/p>\n<p>The flavour can quickly become overpowering.
